Art is a part of who I am. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t making it. Throughout all the changes in my life, art has remained my constant—a reliable source of comfort and expression when everything else seemed to shift. My work is deeply personal, finding flow through a repetitive hatching technique that mimics the movement of muscle fibers, all created with the simplicity of a ballpoint pen. I believe that stripping art down to its essentials allows both the artist and the viewer to be fully immersed in the beauty of the process.

But art, for me, is more than just a solitary act. It’s about creating together, about the power of shared experiences. I’ve seen firsthand how art can build communities, how it can foster creative problem-solving and bring people closer. In creating together, we engage not only in the act of making something tangible but also in cultivating connections, trust, and understanding.
In my workshops and gatherings, the focus isn’t just on the final piece of art but on the journey we take together to get there. It’s about sharing ideas, exploring new ways of seeing, and finding joy in the process. I believe that through these shared experiences, we not only discover something new about ourselves but also about each other.
Art brings people together in ways that go beyond words, and I’m excited to continue building these creative communities, one line at a time.
